Booking your stay at Nougayrede Bas

We accept bookings for Nougayrede Bas by telephone, e-mail or post. If you make a provisional reservation by telephone or e-mail, we hold it for three days to allow time for you to complete our booking form with a down-payment of 50% of one week’s rent. We will then send formal confirmation that your booking is firm. After that, we ask you to pay the balance two months before your holiday. We also ask for a security deposit of £250 against damage (or in case exceptional cleaning should be found necessary). This is payable with the final balance and will be returned one week after your return home, less any deductions due.

Payment

By cheque to our home address, or by electronic transfer. We will notify you of our address and/or our banking details when you make your provisional booking.

Other practicalities

• You will find a welcome pack on arrival.
• The house and pool are cleaned ready for your stay.
• A telephone is available for incoming calls and free local outgoing calls.
• We recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance.

The Owners

The Lane family bought Nougayrede Bas in 2001, since when we have restored and modernised it throughout. We all found the work of refurbishment hard but satisfying. 

The house dates from the C17, we believe, and it was a working farm up until the early 1970s, after which it was used for many years as an artist’s studio. We now use it for entertaining and family parties, as well as for letting.

We love the solid dignity of its architecture, its all-round panorama, and the constantly-changing light on the surrounding hills and valleys. We love to hear that our visitors enjoy them equally. We look forward to hearing the same from you.
