Booking Conditions
- Making a Booking: Once you have made a provisional booking by telephone or e-mail, it will be held for three days, to provide time for you to send the completed Booking Form and Downpayment. On receipt of these, your booking will be made permanent and confirmed in writing.
- Rental: The balance of rent is due 2 months from the start of your holiday. (If your booking is made within two months of the start of the holiday, we ask for full payment at the time of booking.)
- The rent is inclusive of all expenses. Included in the price are heating, lighting, telephone, wi-fi broadband internet, bed-linen and cleaning. There are no extras.
- Security Deposit: This is a deposit of £250, payable with the balance of rent, in case of damage, or in case exceptional cleaning is found necessary on your departure (see paragraph 10 below). Otherwise the deposit is returned in full within a week of your return home.
- Arrival & Departure: The letting begins at 5PM on the Saturday you have chosen. Please ring our local manager in advance (number to be provided) to give your ETA. On the Saturday of your departure, please vacate the property by 10 AM, in order to give her good time for cleaning and preparing the house and pool for the incoming visitors, who may be arriving later that same day.
- Problems: We hope no defects or snags arise during your stay, but if there are any, please report them our local manager immediately, and she will make every reasonable effort to rectify them promptly.
- Cancellation: If you cancel the booking, we will try to re-let the property. If we succeed (but not otherwise) we will refund any rent paid, less any expenses or losses incurred.
- Numbers of People: Please do not have more people at Nougayrede Bas than you have notified to us.
- Care of property and Condition on leaving: The property will be clean on your arrival. You agree to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the house, pool, garden and everything in them, leaving them in a good state of cleanliness and order, replacing all furniture & other movable items where you found them, so that the property is ready to be cleaned for the next visitors (who may be arriving the same day as you leave). Normal cleaning is included in the rent, but we reserve the right to deduct the costs of any exceptional cleaning, if this should be found necessary after your departure.
- Liability: Use of the property, pool, grounds, buildings, whether occupied or not, is at the tenant’s risk and no liability is accepted by the owner for injury, loss or suffering of any type by tenants at the property. We shall not be liable to the tenant for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the property, nor in respect of any equipment in the property, garden or pool, or for any loss, damage or injury resulting from matters beyond our control.
